She was a Pediatric Oncology Nurse at Children's Hospital in Birmingham for 11 years.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Gene L. Aaron.
She is survived by Jim York and her three sons, Cpl. Adam A. York of Kaneshe Bay, Hawaii; John I. York of Pinson, AL; and Robby York of Houston, TX; her mother, Anne M. Aaron of Birmingham; sister, Linda Mickle of Birmingham; brothers, Donovan Aaron of Fultondale, AL and Jeffrey Aaron of League City, TX; two nieces, two nephews, and two great nephews.
