Funeral for Jeffory Holt Johnson, 19, of 749 85th Street South, who died Friday, will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood. Mr. Johnson was a Banks High School graduate and worked for Gibbons Welding Lafayette, La. He was a member of Eighty-Fifth Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry H. Johnson, Birmingham; a brother, Jerry Charles Johnson, Birmingham, and two sisters, Mrs. John Corn and Mrs. Charles Cramer, both of Birmingham.

Birmingham man killed in car crash A 19-year-old Birmingham man was killed early Friday in a one-car accident on I-59 near Tuscaloosa, according to state troopers. Jeffory Holt Johnson, of 749 85th-st, was killed at about 3 a.m. Friday when his automobile ran off I-59 and overturned about 11 miles north of Tuscaloosa, troopers said. Johnson, a recent graduate of Banks High School, was returning to Birmingham from Lafayette, at the time of the accident. He worked for a welding company in Lafayette.
Johnson was alone in the car at the time of the accident, troopers said.
