Daniel Phillip Melton Obituary

Sept. 28, 1956 - Mar. 28, 2016 age 59 of Trussville, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry H. Melton; and brother, Randall Melton. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Melton; brothers, Charles Michael Melton (Linda Andrews Melton) and Ronald Evans Melton (Sally); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and other extended family. He was a member of 9th Avenue Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a contractor for many years in construction where he was known as a craftsman. Phillip served as his mother's caregiver and was a loving son and brother. His family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 1-2 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with his service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
