Mary Frances Tyrone Magdalenski passed away at her home in Birmingham Al, on November 22, 2022 with family by her side.
Frances was born on December 23, 1956 in Birmingham to parents Frank Henderson and Gladys Broome Tyrone. She grew up with two older brothers John and Jim. Eventually gaining a baby sister named Martha. She attended Banks High-school and was an Auburn University alum.
Frances worked as a church secretary at Woodlawn United Methodist Church from the early 90’s into 2008. She moved on to Huffman United Methodist where she retired in 2015. She spent most of her life a single mother of her three beautiful children, whom she loved and adored. Frances eventually found love later in life and married her sweetheart Steve in 2015, spending the rest of her days as his adoring wife. She devoted her life and time to her children, grandchildren, and great grandson.
Her passions were music, books, pictures and the occasional word game. She was a scrabble queen!! She was a devout Christian woman and loves Jesus with all her heart.
Frances is survived by her husband Steve, daughters Carey Brown and Kim Prestley (Joey). Grandchildren Colby, Jersi, Dalton, Gabby and Jacob. Great grandson Hayes Chambers. Brothers John and Jim Tyrone, sister Martha Tyrone and a host of other relatives, and close friends.
We imagine Frances was met at heavens gates greeted by her parents and sweet son, who she had dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held on December 3rd. at 12 pm in the Sanctuary of Huffman United Methodist Church in Birmingham.
